Hello! Just got a 1980 440 LTD first ever project of any kind!

I decided to make an account after a couple weeks of looking through threads and thought why not! Just recently got my 440, I have next to no experience with anything mechanical.  Most experience I have under my belt is doing brakes on my car. This thing has been a huge learning experience but I've loved every second of it and I can't wait to bring it back on the road for the first time in almost 4 years. If anybody is interested I'll post pictures once I'm done with painting.

Hi. If you need any help I am the guy. I'm UK too.

Not really sure why I check up on here anyway. I use my KZ440 all the time for errands and short leisure rides and I don't know anything about polishing. I've had lots of bikes in the past - mostly various 4-cylinder Japanese bikes but also lots of small bikes. Got a Youtube channel where I show how I built mine and rebuilt the engine. I upload pics to Google Maps reviews now and then to prove that, yes, KZ440 and in use. Pretty much a loner and the KZ440 is an ally for me in my life (not my only bike). If you run into any trouble I can probably help.
