Hello from Montana!
05 May 2026 10:20
Hey ya'll, I'm Scot and I've been looking around for a bit and decided to stop in and say "Hello". I'm a new rider and my 79 KZ650 is my first bike. I bought it a month or so back and pulled all the bags and fairings off and I'm quite impressed. She's bone stock but somewhat well cared for, but like all my vehicles, I'm gonna start with a carb rebuild and general tune up. I'm excited to meet all you guys and hopefully learn some more about my bike. I'd love some advice on where to start and where to find parts. Any tips for a new guy?

Welcome to KZRider, Scot. There are many many vendors on the internet willing to sell you parts. Most are reputable, some are not. The same goes for eBay. Learn to use eBay and how to read the reputations of sellers, etc. Best advice will come from members of this site.

Welcome Scot from Canada.
Z1Enterprises, KZ Zone, Diablo Cycle are a few that sell vintage Kawasaki parts.
Which model 650 did you buy? B. C or D?

Welcome from central Massachusetts. Plenty of knowledge and experience on this forum, all you have to do is ask.
Look at "New owner things to know " for a lot of good tips. You can find it in the WIKI section of KZRider.
