Hi everyone from Ventura, CA was created by TurboLTD1000
Hi, I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm new to the forum.
I've been riding since 1978 and have been through a lot of bikes since then.
I joined KZ Rider since I just bought a 1977 KZ1000LTD with an ATP turbo on it. It has only 7k miles on it, was owned by a doctor, then was parked in in a shop in 1987.
It cleaned up nicely, but still needs a lot more TLC.

Welcome to the fun! I agree it does appear to have cleaned up nicely. There is a lot of knowledge that is freely shared here. I look forward to seeing what you do with your project.

Hello from the South but originally from Ventura County.
Have you had it running yet? Those numbers will change with some time on the engine.

Welcome from Lincoln, NE, the birthplace of your LTD! I quite possibly had my hands on your motorcycle 40+ years ago.

Yes, I got it running last night. I found out I had plug wires #1 crossed because it backfired out the carburetor.
I'm using a very crude gravity can just to make sure it runs, pic.
I still need to work on the brakes and lining the tank, much rust but saveable.
