Oil Control Orifice O-Ring P/N Help
11 Nov 2025 04:30 - 11 Nov 2025 06:19
Hello all, I'm new here and new to KZ life and rebuilding a 1983 KZ750H LTD. I've done a lot of reading on this forum that has helped me a ton but now it is my turn asking for some help. I am at a loss trying to find 1. The proper name for this O-Ring and 2. A part number for the bad boy. All I can gather from the FSM is that it is the rubber O-Ring that goes around the oil control orifice on the main body of the block. I need to order two new ones as when I pulled my head off discovered they were hard as a rock and resemble old brittle plastic more than rubber at this point. I've attached 3 images that show the ring in its natural habitat, the ring with the only blurb in the FSM I can find about it and one of it close up in my hand. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank ya'll so much and have a wonderful day.

92055-1147 RING-O
looks to be the same part from my 1980 E1 right through to the 83 H3 H4,
check diagrams at Partzilla.com . They don't list a H3 for 83 but select whatever 750 you see and you'll then get the option for h3 h4 etc.

In the factory service manual, they detail areas on the head gasket and base gasket where sealer material is to be used. Some of the later type OEM head gaskets come with sealer already applied. Anyway, do your research, because those bikes like to weep oil at those locations.

I use this euro site :
Basically the same parts as in the GPZ and Spectre. Never run without those "pin" plugs in place because they create oil pressure for the cams.
