Congrats on your "barn find"! Before anyone brings it up though, i'll give you the scoop in a Nice way. Little any of what you perceive as original 1973 actually is, sorry! You have a mutt mix of KZ early and late parts. And those Manley cams, how do you know that? Those cam half moons were added/available from many sources and have little to do with what's actually inside cam-wise. I have a similar looking pile here and can't even give it away, a KZ900 though. Have to remember when presenting a 1973 for sale you draw a whole different crowd, much more knowledgeable and picky. You'll soon find this to be the situation. Redeeming quality would be the frame and paper, rest of everything attached will be shucked and doesn't add to the value at all. But..Good Luck!

Also note someone cut off the passenger peg/exhaust hanger frame triangles, another detraction in value, Sorry.

Nice find! Someone gave that machine a lot of love over their ownership. But it looks heavily modified. The engine is not original to the frame. The frame has been hacked, including the front brace between the downtubes. That rear wheel setup looks like it came from a KZ550. Front end looks to be from an LTD model. All of the original casing screws have been replaced with allen key screws...that was a common switch back in the day. Lots of work ahead of you.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar.

73's didn't have mags either and that rear drum looks more like smaller 650 dia than larger 900 dia.
