Good day all,

I have been a lurker here for a while and have read some amazing project stories. You guys all do great work here.

I currently am doing a full Resto-Mod of a 1981 KZ750 E2. The bike has been in the Family since 1983 (my Dad was a Kawasaki Dealer in the 70's and 80's) from an accident trade in.  I did an original rebuild in 1988 and rode it all summer of 89. Took some parts from a GPZ 550 which you can tell from my Avatar pic.

I have had this in my Garage since 2008 and finbally getting to a full restore. Frame and Engine are fully apart now and waiting of some parts for the rebuild.

I have a few bikes which should show in my signature. the Venture and the ZRX are daily riders and the XS650 is for Bike night or Vintage night (it has been Bobbed into a Brat).

Once I get thru the new member process I do plan to show some pictures and progress updates.

Hi rstnick,

Where abouts in Canada are you. 

I am in Ontario close to Toronto.

I see you also have a ZRX 1100.  Mine is relatively new to me this winter. Needs some TLC but sound. Got it safetied just last week. Needed a new rear tire. Been out on a few nice days. Awesome bike.

What area are you in?

I'm an hour North of Toronto on the South shore of Lake Simcoe, in Georgina.
I Make it out to a few local meets: Newmarket Bike nights Thursday, and Sundays to Famous Sam's at Woodbine and Stouffville Roads.
