but has mounts for a quarter fairing like an R
30 K original miles, not sure what to do with it.

You can ID your bike with your frame and engine#

BTW: your carbs are looking like 29 or 33 smooth bores!!!
If yes you get a real steal deal bike!!!

What year ZRX? Are you a member of the ZRXOA?
If all the parts are original except for the carbs and pipe it is easy to identify.

My guess is that it's a 1982 GPz1100. But the frame number on the head tube will tell you.

My dad's '74 Z1

Get it going and ride it like you stole it. If I was still in San Diego I'd take it off your hands...

Get the number off the cylinder and a locksmith can make you one or you can order one on eBay. I think it's a four-digit number.
I'd be interested but am clear across the country. Darn.

Sure. eBay is your friend there...

Where in San Diego? I lived there from 1979 to 1987. Attended SDSU and was married at USD.

I live inland about 7 miles from the Del Mar race track,
near Rancho Bernardo.

Where would I look to see the 4 digits on the ignition lock ?
Thanks,

Cool. I used to work in Encinitas.
Not sure where on your bike. You probably have to take the ignition out to see it. On my H1 it is actually stamped on the outside but on my 400 it is hidden.
