Hello from a newbie to motorcycles

I bought a 1983 440 ltd about three months ago. It ran but not well. My son bought a 1983 kz550 a few months before that. His runs but needs some love. We have been working on both with some luck but mine isn't rideable yet. I want to thank the members of this forum for the best info I have found on the web. Your knowledge has really helped us.
