New member, bike owner, and first time rider
22 Feb 2012 12:58
Hi everyone, wanted to pop in and introduce myself. I just bought my first motorcycle, its a 1982 KZ650-H2/CSR650 (to be honest, I am having a hard time finding any info on what that model is supposed to include as I can't seem to find any history or information on it lol) I am the third owner and it has about 18000 on the clock. It runs but its not smooth yet, my roommate who is a mechanic thinks it needs the carbs synced and it needs to be run to clean it out but otherwise it's rideable.
I am hoping to get a bit of help with repairs and such, and of course meet some awesome people. So I look forward to chatting with yall. Thanks for reading!

The handlebars are pretty terrible... those and the rear tail are my first planned mods. I hope to have better pictures of it in its current shape soon (need to find my camera charger)

Welcome Derek.
Give your bike a good once over, checking all items in a periodic maintenance schedule.
Have fun, and ride safely.
