Bright colors are more noticeable and can save your life. Flat black is the worst one.
I like bright red and yellow.
I am going to paint my 3 bikes bright red. I had a bright red car so ordering paint is easy, I just tell them its paint code. Color is close to bicycle on my avatar.
If I see some nice yellow car, I'll write down VIN and call dealer to get paint code.

Funny you say flat black is the worst color . I sprayed my bike but I dont like the paint . It isnt as clean or smooth as I would like. A custom shop near me offered to spray it a smooth flat black . Still debating it really .

i think he meant that flat black is the worst to be seen by. It absorbs light and is much harder to see at dusk/night. Flat finishes are hard to maintain as well. Satin is a nice compromise between flat/gloss and its a bit easier to maintain, looks more finished in my opinion.
