Looks great. Some white or chrome Kawi stickers from the modern bikes would really set it off. Like so:

Motor Head - I used clear on it. Instead of the duplicolor clear, I went with the Spraymax 2K. Stuff polished up really nice after sanding it.

And yes...I am ready to get this thing running soon. It's been a little over a year since I started the rebuild and I'm itching to ride.

Thanks for the compliments guys...it makes all that damn wet sanding actually feel worth it.

damarble - that is one bad ass looking tank! That sticker really does set it off. Thanks.

have a CSR 650 83, 12,500 on it. I was riding today thinking if I ever painted this puppy would I go with a pro or DIY it. I also think that a dark color would be best and maybe a stripe or two. Nice job on that paint.

Looks good! I have to get around to this myself and learn how. I bought the gun and everything else I need. I just need to get the paint.
