Dose anybody knows if the forks of a 82 KZ1100 will fit the tripple trees of a 78 KZ1000 and if so will I be able to fit my spoke rim from the 1000 on it?

I don't think they will fit, IIRC, the 78 1000 has 36mm fork tubes, and the 1100 has at least 38mm fork tubes.

the bike I just got is a single disk and i want the duel disk set up like on the 1100 front end.
will the tripple trees fit the 1000?
What I was going to do is rase the toobs up enough to put clip on on top of the trees insted rite under the top trees.

I would change in a heart beep but if I just need to find a disk and caliper for the other side I would do that just because I like the spoke rim and the 1100 is a mag rim.
