By 750R1: .... There are specialized silicone product to use

I use brake caliper grease. Permatex Ultra in the little packets. technical data sheet says to use it to prevent brake squeal.

Z1s are notorious for squeaking brakes without oem pads. The adhesive only lasts a few hundred miles, shims should help. Havent had the ambition to do mine yet.
