On the GS1100 swap,u will need to shim the sprocket side to ensure proper chain aligment. Also the Kawi shocks will not fit as the GS arm requires a clevis mount for the shocks,so buy the GS shocks as well. Also, the GS chainguard is needed if ur going to run one.Kawi is too short by about 2 inches..bj

I used a 1982 GS1000 arm to swap to my 1982 KZ.Replaced the bearings and thrust washers, shimmed the drive sprocket side, used GS shocks and chain guard.Took about 3-4 hours-fairly straightforward.Looks identical to Otakars swap except I retained the rear pegs.Probably any of the Gs arms will work up thru the mid to late 80s.bj

badrhino that avitar is AWSOME! Check out prodjects/80 KZ 1000 ST recycled thread where I show my buddys bike with the 84 ninja 750 mono setup. These are really pretty cool, not much welding. Very similar to the 900 ninja in the shaft frame. Again AWSOME!

I added a 2007 GSXR 600 swing arm to my 84 GPZ 750. I just had to get a sleeve made to take up the space between the pivot on the GSXR and the GPZ pivot bolt. I also added two small spacers to each side. I used a 2007 GSXR 1000 shock with the GPZ knuckle, but had to get longer links to get the ride height correct.
