you probably haev a left handed caliper. it's kind of hard to find the right side.
you can look on ebay under "kz rotors, calipers, splitter." you might find a deal on 2 calipers. i got the forks because mine were in bad shape. calipers, splitter rotors
you really should have the same rotors on the bike.

The stock 77 650 B caliper is symmetrical, the bleeder nipple is sitting in the center of the caliper and the caliper can be used on either side, you just remove the two bolts and flip the mounting bracket over to mount it on the right side.

As for the splitter/brake light switch you can either get a dual brake light switch from a KZ 1000 or use a double length banjo bolt (pic below) that has two sets of holes and will feed two banjos - don´t forget to put an extra copper washer between the banjos.

While you´re at it it would also be a good idea to get a 5/8" master cylinder - a 1/2" mc will work with a dual disc setup, but if you grab too much front brake it´s real easy to lock the front wheel up, I learned the hard way.

77 KZ 650 B1, 82 GPz 1100 B2.

Thanks for all the info, now another question, is there a way to keep my rear spoke wheel and mount a disc brake?
Thanks

yes you have too make a mount for the master cylinder, then find kz1000 or 750 twin rear wheel and caliper axel. and sprocket carrier, and a swing arm with a brake torqoe arm it has to be off a 1000\750 they use a 20mm axel the 650 only has 17mm

Thanks OnkelB, I've been reading up on things and will be looking for a 5/8 master. I am looking for a dual disc setup. I'm watching one on ebay thats at $50 + shipping, thats for both brakes, lines and a splitter. Do you think thats decent ballpark price?

Thanks gorack I think I'm just gonna concentrate on the front for now. However when I get to upgrade the rear brakes I'll definitely take your advise.

Thanks NONB but the parts bike I was looking at got too expensive. Seems like its good business to snatch up these old bikes and chop em up for profit.:(
