Thanks for your input folks. Jeff at Z1 Enterprises put me onto Kawasaki.com, the factory website. While not easy to navigate, I was able to get the factory microfiches on all this, which supports yours and my views. I plan to take the shop to task on this. Glad I paid them on a credit card! $90 is a lot to pay for a potential tire failure!
