Personally I’d not use the clymer. Only as a reference. The FSM I posted is a color version.

I have two of each. I'm calling Z1Parts tomorrow and having them exchange the two double wire.What a mess.  Trying to start in the headlight, PO had so much spliced and run with different color wires, I can't just go through it methodically and remove and replace, which is what I had planned on doing. So I don't know if this aftermarket harness is adding to the confusion... but I'm assuming the two black plastic covered canon plugs are for the right and left handlbar controls?  Then the diagram is showing b/y, r/y and b/r going to the headlight... got those covered.  Then there's b/y and gr going to right turn sig and b/y and g going to left.  (Just thinking out loud, let me know if I'm off on anything)  So there's no green but in the same bundle there's a y/r, a gr a double br and a blue.  My guess is since these are all bundled together, the what I'm seeing as blue, is supposed to be the green for the left turn sig?  Then there's the pair of brown and blue... is that possibly for the horn?  Ugh.. I'm getting a headache.

Yes, I agree...  Clymer sucks.  and thanks for the color diagram Mikaw.  That helps a lot.

6 pin is left hand control, 4 pin is right hand control. Blue and brown are front brake light. gray is Rh turn,green is LH turn they get the black yellow ground. Yellow red is coil power. Brown is switched 12v power. Brown white is extra 12volt power. Can’t find the solid red yet. Looks like it is the same as solid Blue it is switched Thur the headlight Rh control 

Something doesn’t look right about that harness. Can you show a picture of the whole complete harness

Back when I was still working I had access to a high quality printer/plotter and printed this 3 ft by 5 ft version off an electronic PDF copy of the colour version.  I think it's near the back of the manual.

The hand control connect at the red circle under the tank. The dash/idiot lights connect one in the blue circle. What throwing me off is the other in the blue circle.

Still need a yellow red double bullet to power coils.
