Agreed. If there's no other option, then sometimes you just have to take your chances. Of course, buying used electrical parts is also a risk. The used voltage regulator I got was in good physical condition as it looked good in the photos plus the connector & wires looked like new. not dirty, burned, melted or worn or anything. and it was from a low mileage motorcycle. plus the seller said it was tested & working. some sellers are liars, though. hee.
