Truck light need 24 Volt and you have only 12 Volt.
This could be your problem with the LED.

Think scirocco might be correct. Now unless you use an electronic flasher...... the LED lamps still won't work.... LED's don't draw enough amperage for the old school bi-metallic flashers....

Are we talking about a rear light or a flasher light.
Other than normal bulbs LEDs need the correct porlarity
Try switching the cables.

Have you checked the voltage on the connectors with a multimeter.
A loosen or oxidate connector / switch in the wiring harness could be the source of a voltage drop.
Try connect the LED headlight temporary direct to the battery with a 10 Amp fuse to to verify the function.

Is it a "HID" headlamp? Car guys that use those tell me they draw a lot of amps - enough to melt the stock car's headlight wiring when retro-installed on vehicles that didn't come with them,,,
You might need to change to heavier gauge wire to feed the light's current demand and a install a dimmer switch relay to control the light from your handlebar headlight switch.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationMy HID needed the relay that comes with it as an option. It was recommended and they sent me one free. I had the same issue due to old contacts and such. It doesn't pull any more power running but it needs a ballast to get it started. Uses 1/2 the power the old H4 used. What I like most about it is it has a blue tint and I can tell drivers see me coming better. For some reason the old yellowish headlight was invisible to them.
