Is there supposed to be a pic or link? I don't see one. I bought the M-Unit for my build. Can't wait to use is. I will do an extensive post during its installation.

Has anyone tried to build a custom fuse/relay block out of something like the cooper bussman sealed relay and fuse box to build a complete system like the M-unit? Sort of like a poor mans analog M-unit.

I think I used something like this:
www.autozone.com/electrical/fuse-block/p...e-center/196357_0_0/

Just left it like that under the side cover... doesn't usually get too wet under there.

The one thing not being talked about is the overheated wiring. When a wire gets hot, it has more resistance. If it has melted it's insulator, it is no longer serviceable and should be replaced. That will cause fuses to fail prematurely. On my overhaul, I replaced the main (hot) wire along with a few others, after all it is 40 years old.

I haven't finished it yet, but I am building a custom harness and using a ZRX1100/1200 fuse box. It is small, sealed, uses spade style molded connectors, ATC blade fuses, and has circuitry like head light disconnect during cranking. They are cheap and available on EBay. I have two complete harnesses.
