Do you have a manual with a wiring diagram? If not you can temporarily hook the RLU to the harness with some alagator test wires, or similar means. Then try it, see if it helps. If you have a Kawasaki Manual it will have full diagnostic procedures for testing. There are free downloads for pdf manuals available on this site, I got 1 for my other2 bikes from here.

Your choice can be to splice wires together(I like using heat shrink tubing to cover the splices), or buy matching compatible connectors to mate with what you've got.
Most good auto stores sell 3m heat shrinkable spices in RED 22-18 gauge, BLUE 16-14 gauge, and YELLOW, 12-10 gauge.
I think getting both BLUE and RED splices would be the way to go if you decide not to get a connector.
A hot hair dryer might shrink the covering on the splices. if not, go to a hobby shop and buy the small heat gun used to shrink the wing film on flying models.

I've got plenty of tubing in stock, and i have always used a lighter to shrink it. it works pretty well.

Well, this was easier than I thought. I removed my gas tank because i was changing my spark plug wires and plugs. and i see a 6 pin connector just like the one on my ebay RLU. i trace it back, and there it is! the Reserve Lighting Unit was Loacated on top of my two ignition coils! who woulda thought to look there?! Anyway, my warning light is OFF!!! for once. and my New blue Halogen bulb is as bright as the sun! well, idk about that bright, but its way better! so forget all the wiring junk, but thanks anyway guys!
