I made the thing so it is direct Plug-N-Play. The lid is totally water tight. You can see the convenient storage of the four fuses under the sixth circuit. If you want you can store an extra fuse between each of the circuits.

I believe that some of the blade style fuses are available with a built in LED that will illuminate indicating the blown fuse. It should make troubleshooting much easier.

Those fuse blocks are ok, but two things to remember they are a lot like your old one...if the clips on the sides break..your water proofing goes out the window..Which is another reason why you should go with a inclosed unit. But to each his own

The cover is made out of Poly-Carbonate or PETG The plastic on the lid is very flexible, much more so than the stock plastic. Besides that the lids are available. I also bought four of them so i have plenty extra if I require one. I am just getting sick ant tired of not being able to find the 1" fuses except at the bike shop. The stock fuse box isn't even close to being water "resistant" so I am very happy with this box. Now I am going to build one for my KZ1300.
