I've tried all combinations of plugs etc without any change. Tried checking the IC igniter resistances but not very successful. Pulled carbs again and have found a blocked pilot jet drilling. Can't clear it with aerosol cleaner so I'll take it to garage for compressed air blast tomorrow.
I'll keep posting and keep smiling.

good to hear you found something. if you dont have inline filters you might want some. also treating the gas with aditive will help prevent that when it must sit. gas just isent what it should be...also sea-foam is suposed to help clean passages that might be working but are still gumed up.

Bad news.....air line couldn't clear the blockage in the pilot circuit.....good news is there is definitely a blockage.
Anyone got any idea how to clear the circuit.

You can use one of the wires from a fine wire brush to stab through it. Yes they say don't use wires to clean them...but IMO it's better to be slightly reamed out than totally clogged.

if the blockage is really bad i'll use tip cleaners from a cutting torch they always work well for me or i'll also use small number drills they always work.

Only problem is trying to clear round corners in the body. I'm taking the carbs to be ultrasonically cleaned today. See if that works!!!!!!

that should work, i've seen that take some very nasty carbs to a very good condition inside and out. i have a gallon of carb solution that i usuly let them soak in. works very good.

Got the carbs back....still #4 pilot jet circuit blocked. Back to the manual where I see the US model has a sealed air screw to comply with your emission laws. I removed the seal and the air screw and managed to clear the blockage. I'll try the carbs on the bike again.

I find the welding tip cleaners sold at the welding supply stores to have the best small diameter wires for pushing out blockages. Here in the U.S. they sell for under $5.
Guitar strings and small diameter safety wire might work too.
