Noticed the hex head fastener.  Those are a recipe for stripping threads in soft alloys very easily.  Float bowl screws don't have to be King Kong tight.  If the gasket's not fresh, over-tightening the screws won't help anyway. Suggest a torque screwdriver such as those used in the gunsmith trades.to reduce the likelihood of over-tightening & stripping small hex fasteners in soft metals.

Was pretty easy. Didnt even have to totally remove the carbs, just slid them to the side and put the new boots on.

You should check to ensure no air leaks.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Thanks for the reminder.

as Ive mentioned two bikes in this post, the carbs of which I speak are on the 650. The 750's i changed the other day had a leak on the manifold side boots. On the 650 the Carb boots on both sides are brand new, engine/cylinder cover are all tight, no leaks. Issue was dried O rings - ethanol related over time.

Carbs were gone through and will go back on the bike when the tank and rear fairing paint are done this week. Cant wait to post a pic in the appropriate area of the forum. These are the carbs off. So pretty I think.

Thanks again for the "leak" reminder
