Hi everyone. Im currently having Joe Hooper from Pitstop Performance build my Z1 motor with a 1015 piston kit and X3 cams. My first question was are the CR29's the correct carb to use and also if anyone has experience with the Yoshimura CR29 inner kit for the CR29 carbs?

29, are to small for a 1000 . You will need at least 31's

Sorry I should have been more specific. The bike is a '74 Z1.
It has the 903cc block and will have a z1000 head to fit the cams

No problem. I understood. I still say CR29’s will disappoint you. They would be ok for a 750 or a bored out 750 but the CR31’s are what you’re gonna need
Good luck
