Kz250 jetting

I'm looking to remove the stock air box on my 1980 KZ250D1 with a CV32 carburetor to install a pod type filter. I've heard I'll have to rejet it due to it will probably run lean. Anybody have experience with this issue? If so what size are the Jets going to be replaced with? No other modifications to the bike will be made. Thanks in advance!

One suggestion .......

Don't hurt or lose the airbox. Like many others, you may want to re-install it after spending time & money trying to get the bike to run as well with a pod filter. Ed
