Hi, I have a 1982 KZ750-4 which is now running. All left to fix is an oil leak WOW! What a relief!

I just had it out around the driveway for a while. The bike won't run or idle without the choke on.

I find when I let off the throttle, it takes a few seconds for the bike to reduce its rpms.

When I loosen the idle adjustment, the idle increases. I also see some high pressure mists escaping from between the boot and cylinder head. I mean HIGH pessure because they are very tight!

Any suggestions to make it run real real nice?
