Not sure if its the same oring as my VM26's, but if it is I got a bag of them here: www.amazon.com/dp/B005RUOZ2C/ref=pe_1751...431760_cs_sce_dp_1_A

You'll want extras! I tore 2 or 3 installing them with Vaseline.

I bought a pack of the Viton O-Rings at my local Harbor Freight and I'm all set. Thank's for all your help.

Here is the dimension on the air screw oring:
Air screw has 3.25mm I.D. x 1.40mm Cross Section oring.

Since they don't contact gasoline, you can probably get away with HNBR or Nitrile, but Viton is better if you have that.

As Patton noted, the rebuild kits come with orings and brand new screws, along with many other useful parts (jets, adjustable needles, fuel valves, orings, etc). Very good deal.

As Martin noted, there is a lot of TK22 and KZ550 info on my site in his link, or in my signature.

Lou, I've been unable to find O-rings with the exact specification you mentioned below. I tried using some that were close but they were either too big and would break up when installed or were too little (in thickness). Do you know of any place where I may be able to get the 3.25mm I.D x 1.40mm CS o-ring? Thanks much.

Heres one that will strain your noodle.
Install your o-rings, set at even number turns run bike.
Now remove all the orings, reinstall to same number turns, did you notice any difference?
:P
Remember, don't work on your bike so much you never ride it.

Thanks a lot Lou. I got the rings, installed them on my carbs and everything was so much easier to tune and make work. I was able to get my kawa out and ride it and it seemed to ride awesome. I can't tell you how happy I am to be on a Kawa after more than 15 years. Thanks to you and everyone else here. I'm not out of the woods yet and a few kinks to clean up. I'll post some pics once I'm all done.

And on that same note, I may have to replace the o-rings on my drain screws too.

I notice that fuel's leaking out of overflow tube on one of the carbs. I adjusted the fuel level and it seemed to be ok but I'm not really sure. Could it just be the o-ring or something else?

And if it is the o-ring, can you please point me to an ebay link again? :) I tried looking but was unable to find anything.

Never mind, I think I found some on ebay. But do let me know what you think of the leak. Thanks much.

Would suspect imperfect fuel valve. Usually just dirty, but sometimes worn.

Less likely to be an issue with the float itself, such as leaking float.

Possibly a cracked or loose overflow tube.

Probably wasn't result of improper float height (which may have been goofed up when trying to correct a float valve leak by messing with the float height).

When fuel valve has been corrected, would perform the clear tube test, and readjust the float tang as needed to achieve correct fuel level.

Good Fortune! :)
