I have a box of carbs, 3 sets Kz 650 24s 1set kz700CVs and one set of 85 ninja600 mikunis I am going to redo a set for my SR that has the 700 engine on it what set would be best to do and what would you recommend doing to them, the bike has the CVs on it now

I know I mentioned the dreded KZ700 engine, seems every time its mentioned everybody runs away....KZ700= bad word.. I guess

I don't know why the KZ700 gets a bad rap. I know it was a tarriff buster, but from what I understand they're fine bikes... just a little smaller bore than the 750.

I guess I have been swearing every time I post.

Why would people shy away from talking about the 700 engine? Is it because odd engine size? I kinda would like to know. thx.

well I have posted a few times and as soon as the 700 is mentioned it kills the thread or so it seemed, I like this engine, it revs quicker than the 650 that was on the bike and from what I found its mostly 750 parts, I bought an 84 KZ700 that needed a lot of small parts real cheap with a title but after looking for those small parts for a while I decided to upgrade my SR and my 750B, its amazing what will interchange, so now my 750B is becoming a bobber style and my SR went cafe with a bigger engine,its becomming a race to see which one hits the road first, both very close. Yhe SR needs some carb work and a few things attached or painted,the B needs rear brakes, rear fender done and some lights
