parts for vm 29 smoothbores

Anyone know where I can get a link lever from? Received carbs on 79 kz and on tear down found bubble gum type substance on lever. Soaked carbs and it had fallen apart. Looks as if someone put jb weld on it. Would love to have original. To put them back for last time. Or would it be possible to make one out of aluminum to get close? Help please cuz sudco doesn't have them anymore. Thanx.

Welcome to KZR Big Dog! I'm not sure what part you are describing as a link lever. Could you clarify or do you have a picture?

They have most of the parts, and if they don't have them, they can usually get them or point you in the right direction. Call and speak with Jeff Saunders if you can. I know he has some spares for VM29's and often they sell items that I cannot find on their website.
