Carbs on your hot KZ1000?

Other than old, expensive 29 smoothbores, what aftermarket carb choice for your hot-rod KZ1000?. I am blanketing the forums to see what folks like. I am building a J motor punched to 1135 with stage 1 porting and GPZ1100 cams. I see some nice , new smoothbores and flatslides on line, but have not bought carbs since Denco was in bizz!.
When in doubt, GAS IT!!

Sorry I don't, but there are guys who do. They just haven't answered. You probably would look to the RS34's, Manual slide valve carbs. Check the For Sale area as sometimes some good Carbs are there.
Then there is always the guy's who still run their BS34's CV carbs with full jetting kits, slide mods and different springs. If you want new RS34's they will be over $650, + shipping.

I have no fear of new, as long as the jetting/set-up is damn close. The stock CV carbs will be ok for the break-in, but for play time I need a good set of go fast carbs. I just am out of touch with modern bike carbs and need some good advise.
