BS34 Carbs on a KZ650 with VM's

Ok so I have my KZ1100 that has a set of BS34. I was curious would the BS34 increase the power of my 650, if so what all would i need to do to fit them on my bike. It looks as if the rubbers for the Vms are much smaller than that of the 34's to are the rubbers interchangeable? or not?

if your 650 has vm24s on it now the ports would be way to small to take advantage of a carb that big,a set of vm26s would wake it up B)

I've read other places where they have swapped bs34 on a 650 with Vm24, with the boots fit on my bike then? that's the only way i can see that happening

youd have to slot the mounting holes on the 34 boots would be my guess.
look at the size of the ports on your stock 650 head compared to the bs34 carbs B)
the newer 650/750s have bigger ports to run the bigger carbs B)

its the size of the carbs thats the biggest issue,it would be a lot easierto just swap the 34s for a set of 26s with somebody B)
