can anyone tell me when you take the float bowl off under the bowl gasket what is the circular piece with the rubber washer on top? cv34 carbs

are you talking about the slide/diaphragm under the carb top?

I think he means the small rubber gasket that goes right at the float bowl gasket, sealing off the bottom of the small alloy plug. It would be #11009 in the picture, part #11009-1240 GASKET,CARB. PLUG. Then the plug, which also has an O-ring on it I believe, #92066B in the picture, and part #92066-1086 PLUG,CARBURETOR. If it doesn't seal well, it would be able to draw from the float bowl.

why does it have a rubber gasket covering it when the float bowl gasket covers it?

would it cause a fuel delivery issue if the rubber gasket on top of the plug was missing???

If missing you can make 1 easily, gasket material or an O-ring works good.
