HELP pls. 33 mikuni smoothbores

Hello,
I have a set of 33 mikuni smoothbores with a broken float tower.

Can it be repaired or am I F#*@%D

picture not working.

how far down post is it broke,could it be tig welded back on?

posting from deep under a non-descript barn in an undisclosed location southwest of Omaha.
