When I put my bike back together, the fuel switch leaked from the inner seal around the switch itself - may have been handled roughly while parts were stored.
I don't think the switch worked to begin with, and I really don't need it, so now Im looking for options from someone who may have done this. Here's what I'm thinking:
Option 1 is to plug the hole in the mount plate for my old switch and make it a blockoff plate. Im not clear on exactly what would be a safe way to do this. I thought about making a small rubber stopper or maybe using some two-part compound.
Option 2 is to try and find a pingel adapter that will work and plug it with a pipe plug or rubber cap. I like the idea of having a plug that will thread up.
Option 3 is a "new" switch I found on ebay that doesn't look new at all.
