yeah the bottem end looks to be the 79-80 style judging from the stator cover and output shaft cover,head appears to be 73-78 style from valve cover anyway.
somebody could have just put the older style valve cover on there and plugs smog ports on head or swapped whole head out in the past.
got a close up of cylinder head ,mainly spark plug area?

looks like the older style head on there,thats why you dont have smog stuff on there.
i think you have the 79 bottem end unless somebody slipped a 79-80 crank into older cases you cant use use the finned kawasaki dyno cover with the old style crankshaft B)

Definately got to replace that......
On another note i just got a used airbox but one of the boots the guy gave me is for the center and i need the left one. The end ones have an angle to them. He gave the extra one to replace the end one because its hard as a rock. Any ideas how to get that soft again. It looks like its in good shape.

zip lock bag and a bottle of armor all,if that doesnt soften it up in a week nothing will.

Ok ill try it. If not ill check z1. I feel like i am make deposits at z1 instead of the bank these days.
But all and all they get me stuff quick at reasonable prices
