Hello! I just got finished doing the top end of my KZ1000. When I put it all back together the bike does not want to idle at 1-1.5K rpms. I can keep an idle sort of at about 3K, but below that it slowly dies out. The tach does show me surging of about 200rpms. It's acting? like it's starving for gas, I'm not sure. I do see gas in the gas tank lines (installed gas filter) and I'm pretty sure the new carb boots are on good (no surging when I spary around them with carb cleaner when running).
I think I got all air out of gas lines, gas filter shows nothing but gas. Carbs were cleaned and checked with air but not complete rebuild but I did not have carb problems before rebuild.
The plugs have about 3000 miles on them. 1 and 4 plug show some black carbon and 2 and 3 are white.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
