Stock main jet is 107.5

Sizes change in steps of 2.5

Imo a reasonable first guess would be 2 sizes larger, which equates to 112.5

The only true test is spark plug reading after high speed throttle chop.

Is it known what size main jets are already currently fitted?

Wouldn't hurt to perform a high speed throttle chop and plug reading before making any change to the existing main jets, as the existing size may be just fine.

Good Fortune! :)

Doubt it! Mwaaa haaa haaa, MWAAA HAA HAAAAA HAAAAA, ehem... excuse me. Sorry bout that!

When I jet a bike for pods I usually have 3 pilots, the next richer needl (if possible), and 6-8 larger main jets. the process can take a weekend sometimes for myself, and thats not getting every kink out - just making it smooth overall and streetable.

There is no set size of jets that will accomidate you perfectly. Pattons guesss could be bang on, or way the #&@$ off, who knows. I couldnt tell you any better!

What I will say is that you most deffinately should be aware that with pod filters, the baseline settings for your mixture/air screws WILL NOT be the same. The proper settings will not all be 1.5 turns out, but rather as much as a 1/4 turn or more apart, depending on the filters themselves.

You may need to bump your pilot one size or three... The way to tell, is when you can tune all your mix screws to the highest idle point (per screw), within 2 turns of fully closed. thats when you have the correct idle.

Needle you can just keep raising till you get as much smooth pull while on the throttle (1/8th to around 2/3 - 3/4 throttle).

you can use a drop tune method for your mains that is pretty quick.
basically, just get the bike good and hot on a ride. Then shift to 4th and crack the throttle wide. When she reall starts to pull around 5K + then sharply drop the throttle back to about 3/4s. If the bike surgess forward harder, your main is too lean. If the bike stammers slightly your main is too rich. If it just doesnt seem to change, or WOT doesnt make it go all that much faster - still too lean. It should feel like slight engine braking when backing off sharply, and give a little extra power when you go WOT.

Good luck!
