Where do I position the petcock again?

Hello everyone.

I know it's sounds like a dumb question but I recently bought this bike that was not used much and the owner said he just left it in the same position for years. I have owned a couple of KZ's and know that they are notorious for their carbs malfunctioning. Just wanted to make sure I am leaving it in the "off" position.

I took her out today and was a blast to ride. Cold blooded, but once she gets warm it just feels like riding a new bike with the vintage look - hard to believe she's 33 years old.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

On mine up (pictured) is reserve. Horizontal is off and down is on.
