Ware are you from?
I have a set off a 1982 KZ1100 Spectre maybe we can work something out.
Cause I would like to rebuild the set I have on my bike and go with pods also.

Will be running custom header/exhaust, pods, he did mention he had a three angle valve job when the head was overhauled.

Well the Keihin's arn't junk. That said, they are okay as a stock carb on a stock motor. The Keihin has two butterfly valves. The first is the choke plate at the air cleaner end then down stream of the slide there is the throttle plate. The Mikuni has only one butterfly plate, the throttle plate down stream of the slide. So the Keihin's 34's don' flow as well as Mikuni BS 34's giving the Mikuni a better flow rate for a given size.
