since it has the old style KZ head you have few options....the best would be 29 sbores if you can get a good set....pricey.....you could run 28's....cheaper, but not optimum for performance......bs 34's are otto's territory....he knows them well and how to make them work with pods on an old style kz head.....i ran a set for a while and jeff at Z1 enterprises can sell you the right boots to make them work....i had issues with the aftermarket pingel petcock, but it can work.....slides are a lot easier to work on and modify than the constant velocity, but to each his own........just a little to chew on......

That is not an older stile head. That is still a MKII head from 1979-81. You should have no problem using the cv34 carbs. As I mentioned before, get a Mikuni set from a GPz750.
