Uhhhh....Anyone have any idea how to remove the stock air box from a GPZ? From the looks of it, seems I might have to cut it off??? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.......

No, don't cut it. You should keep it. If you run pods, you may not like the low end torque loss, and may want the drivability of the airbox.

What size gpz? 550?
You have to pull the carbs out, then the airbox will come out. There are two little "L" brackets on the sides of the airbox that must be removed. Each is secured with a bolt. Then the airbox can be wiggled out forward.

If it's cold out, you may want to get a hair dryer to warm up the boots, otherwise it will be a real bear to get the carbs out. I would wait for a warm day, if I could.
