Carb jetting

Hello kzeers,
I have a '78 Kz1000 stock engine. I am installing 29mm smoothbores, bike did not come with airbox. Looking for pods and what kind of side cover mode if using the K&n route. Also, carb settings I have main 115, pilot 17.5 and 1.5mm slides. Should I get the 120 for the main jet? Thanks for your input

Hello, glory roader, and WELCOME to KZr! :cheer:

As recommended by Z1E:

29mm smoothbores Z1 / KZ900 / KZ1000
Main Jet 120
Air Jet 0.9
Needle Jet O-6
Jet Needle 5DL31-3
Throttle valve (slide) 1.5mm cutaway
Pilot Jet 17.5 or 20.0 (or 25 in the later versions)
Air Screw setting 1 1/2 turns out

Good Fortune! :)
