Carb Help

Can someone send me the thread or point me in the right direction for the instructions on cleaning carbs ? THe one that tells you to cover certain holes while you spray cleaner in another. I know that it is on here, but I can't seem to find it yet.

Noticed in an earlier thread that recently acquired bike is a 1976 KZ900 with 29 mm carbs on it.

The posted diagram is 26mm Mikuni that came stock on KZ900.

Similar Mikuni manual slide carbs also came in 28mm versions, and 29mm smoothbores.

The various Mikuni manual slide carbs are basically similar enough to apply the principles as shown in the diagram.

If carbs are Mikuini 29mm smoothbores , they also have a small removable pilot air jet that might be overlooked when cleaning.
