KZ 750L3 Jetting

Hi All. New to the forum. I own an 83 KZ750L3 with a modified exhaust. Header and baffled pipe...not sure of the brand. I bought it like that and there is no name plate. In any event, I recently redid my carbs and upgraded to 115 Main jets (on the advice of my local Kawi dealer). Apart from new Mains I added new pilot jets and caps. Cleaned them up etc...Problem I'm finding now is there's no mid range anymore. The bike screams past 6500 RPM but before that...it seems sluggish. Did I miss a step? Anyone have a suggestion? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Pikk...have you made any modifications to the air intake system? Rephrased, are you using the stock airbox or have you gone the individuals airpod route?
