Hello fellow KZ riders. I have a stock '76 KZ900 with a Kerker 4 into 1 pipe, K&N pod filters, and Mikuni RS34 flatslide carburetors. My questions are. Does anybody here run a similar setup? Does anyone think these carbs are too big for the setup? They have 120 main jets. The accelerator pump is nice when you punch it. It idles very smoothly. Problem is it doesn't have much top end speed at all, it just goes flat when wide open to about 80-90 mph. Doesn't pull anymore after that. When I back off from wide open it accelerates momentarily before slowing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
