Larry taught me this one... If she likes 1200rpm then let her have it for this will also circulate the oil a little better for her....
No use in holding her down, rough idling just because the manual says 800-100rpm... We need to keep in mind, these numbers where for a stock build which of course we no longer truly have....
Damn that guy is wise...
As for the 33's... Larry would be better suited and experienced to answer... All I know is with my setup... When I ask her to perform, she comes to life with no stumbles, no hesitations, no back fires, no misses, no flat spots etc...
She just pulls my ass backwards like a professional street walker.... :woohoo: Basically spanks my Ass and calls me Sally..... Then I poo myself....

Whats the price tag and how much performance is there to gain over a set of rs34s just wondering??
Also these round slides are they still cable operated ??
I curently run bs 34 and they are cv was told the smooth bore or flat slide is a better carb what is the dif??
new to carbs and love new toys just dont want to buy the wrong thing for what I do lol.
FCR vs CR they look pretty close from what I see :side:

The FCR is Keihin's flat slide offering, while the CR Special is a round slide. I couldn't tell you if there is a perfomance difference, but there is a definate price difference! I think the CR Specials retail for around $800, and the FCR's are around $1200. 30% higher cost.....but is there a 30% increase in performance?

I do not believe the round slides clack at all, compared to the Mikuni Rs carbs. But the Keihin FCR's flat slides ride on rollers, so there may not be any clacking at all on those. But the FCR's only come as small as 35mm stateside.......so you'd have to have an engine with the sac to rum 'em :woohoo:
I think the keihin crs/fcr and mik rs's are all considered smooth bores
