exhaust leak and carb tuning

having removed my head from my ass and realizing I have exhaust leakage (even though all types of spray test said no leaks) my changes in my carbs have been useless, I'm going back to total stock jets and settings, My question is does this affect carb adjustments THAT MUCH, and if so in what ways???

thanx everyone for your patience,

Can you tell where? My stock exhaust is a mess on my 750-H2 (no crossover pipe, leaking before the muffler, etc) and I was curious how that is affecting my bike.

exhaust leaks allegedly dont affect carb tuning or so i was told, if its leaking before muffler then its at the exhaust gasket and can screw up the valve
