I have an 82 550 LTD and 80 750 LTD with the stock air boxes. I have noticed on some of the newer models of these bikes the air box has a piece of chrome on it. I personally think this really dresses it up and I was wondering if that is a separate piece or part of the air box? If its part of the airbox, would I be able to fit a later model airbox to my bikes? I am guesing not with big mod's because both my bikes have carbs that weren't used on the later ones (CV 34s and Tk22s)
