I would like to thank all those who have helped me over the last 2 months with my bike. I brought to the table what I thought was a carburettor problem, and may well have been a contributing factor, but know doubt has left me with the cleanest carbs in North America. Rebuilt them 4 times, the last being the best, degreaser solution, and an air compressor on each and every part and jets. My bike had uncontrollable throttle, stalled at low idle and was difficult if not impossible to start. After much frustration, my problem ended up being my timing advancer. I did the required maintenance on it, which involved greasing the springs and advancer and placing them back on the bike. By the look of the area by the timing advancer it was a long time since this was lubricated if ever(29 years). When all was put back together, started first turn, and after a carb synch in my opinion may be running as well as I can remember. Hope this helps someone. BIGD
